TEST METHOD FOR COMPARING EQUIPMENT IN WHICH TEXTILE PARTS ARE TREATED
The invention relates to a test means for comparing apparatuses in which textile parts are treated, in particular of different washing machines with regard to their respective washing performance and the use thereof.
State of the art
Testing means are already known for comparing devices in which textile parts are treated. This mainly concerns appliances in which washing, cleaning and drying processes take place, which must also be included in the present invention.
For example, from EP 1 471 173 B1 a test means for the indicating purpose is known, which consists of a fabric with interconnected wires, which, due to mechanical loads, act on the test means in the apparatus in question through washing, cleaning and drying processes, can at least partially shift and / or become detached, which is then used as a degree of load.
Furthermore, from EP 1 462 560 B1 a test means for a standardized determination of the quality of a washing, cleaning and / or drying process is known, wherein in the form of a carrier element physical and / or chemical effects of this release detachable particles into a defined density, the particles having a defined size and a defined bonding force and consisting of plastic. The central idea here is that when this test agent is used, for example, in a washing machine on account of the loads occurring therein in the drum, for example by kneading, bending or stretching, at least a part of the particles come loose, the process still represent a quantity that remains on the test agent, which is in proportion to the load on the test agent and therefore to the physical and / or chemical activity of the relevant device during the washing process.
Disadvantages of the prior art
These known test means for comparing appliances, such as washing machines, etc., have proved themselves to be completely dependent on the application, yet the share of subjective evaluation of the results is still relatively high and therefore requires a certain experience in use.
Object of the invention
It is the object of the invention to provide a test means for comparing washing, cleaning and drying devices, with which objective and especially reproducible comparative measurements of the loads in these devices are possible in a simple manner.
Achieve the objective
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the surface of the test means is a surface construction on which a plurality of geometrically bounded fields of variegated color intensity is provided. This makes it possible in a simple manner to specifically compare fields of, for example, testing means treated in two washing machines with corresponding fields of an original test means, namely because the relevant color intensity is measured and then used in the form of a certain degree of reflection as a comparison quantity. The wide variety of the geometrically spaced fields, which are color-intensity-marked fields, can therefore advantageously be used to carry out several comparison measurements in a single comparison process, i.e. one selects several correspondingly placed fields of, for example, two comparator test means for the respective measurements. This makes it possible to carry out multiple control measurements, without having to perform multiple treatments of the test agents such as waxes and so on.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the different color intensity of the geometrically bounded fields can be achieved by a gradual increase or decrease in the color intensity from field to field location, wherein the gradual increase or decrease in color intensity per field from white to black or vice versa. It is also possible that the gradual increase or decrease of the color intensity per field is carried out in a colored manner.
A test fabric in the form of a surface construction is in particular a fabric material on which the geometrically bounded fields are printed as a kind of checkerboard pattern. In this context it has already been attempted (“Mechanical Action in Washing Machines” New Ways to Determine Mechanical Action; Association for Chemical Technical Study Water Treatment Technical Commission Isao Yamada; January16, 2007, Tokyo, Japan) to print a white cotton fabric with multiple soot-black fields, the color intensity of which then becomes weaker after, for example, a washing process and, therefore, the reduction is used as a comparative measure. However, the color gradation according to the invention of the fields increases the selection criteria for the determination of one or more suitable measuring fields, which is not the case with the uniform carbon black fields.
It can also be particularly effective that the variegated color intensity of the checkerboard pattern extends both vertically and horizontally, which increases the selection criteria for determining one or more suitable measuring fields with a further selection criterion.
When a test agent is used, in particular in the form of a woven fabric for comparing, in particular, the washing performance of different washing machines, a plurality of geometrically delimited fields with shaded color intensity must be provided thereon, which must already be printed, depending on the load in the washing machine in question, it is preferable that the power of the washing machine be gradually reduced and the color difference with respect to the respective original color is used as a comparative quantity which can be objectively determined on the basis of an exact degree of reflection.
Brief description of the drawing
These and other features of the invention are apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, which represents a non-limiting example and in which reference is made to the following drawing.
Figure 1 shows a top view of a segment of a test means according to the invention in the form of a fabric with printed quasi-square fields, the relevant color intensity of which is varied with respect to each other.
Detailed description of a preferred embodiment
Figure 1 shows in the plan view a segment of a test means 1 in the form of a fabric material, on which checkerboard-like, for example, twelve geometrically bounded fields 2-13 are printed, wherein another arrangement of the fields 2-13 is for example by sticking, vapor depositing, etc. is also very possible.
The fields 2-13 each have a different color intensity, which gradually increases from field to field starting with field 2, i.e. field 3 is more color intensive than field 2 and field 4 is more color intensive than field 3 and so on, up to field 13 is more color-intensive than field 12. In this exemplary embodiment, the color intensity of the individual fields 2-13 ranges from white (field 2) to completely black (field 13) or vice versa. Hereby it is also possible to carry out the gradual increase or decrease of the color intensity per field in color.
The individual chessboard-like fields 2-13 are precisely defined with respect to each other by dividing lines 14-19 and in this exemplary embodiment have a slightly rectangular shape, which can also have a different geometry. It is important here, however, that the individual fields 2 - 13 have different separate limits with respect to each other, so that, depending on the load in a comparison process, the most evidential field or the most evidential fields can be used for comparative consideration.
Functioning method
For a comparative consideration of, for example, two washing machines, the same test means 1 according to the invention in the form of a fabric fabric printed with fields 2 - 13 of different color intensity are subjected to a washing process in the drums of both washing machines. Mechanical forces such as kneading, bending, stretching and possibly a washing powder act upon a temperature, and so on.
In accordance with the respective load requirements in the two washing machines to be compared, the color intensity of the fields 2-13 concerned remains either the same or - more likely - it changes, that is to say the respective color intensity of the fields 3-13 of the two test agents 1 to be compared lose their color strength more or less differently in the washing processes, so that the color difference with respect to the corresponding original color of an original test agent is used as comparative variable, for example the color difference of the corresponding fields 9 or 12 of the two test agents 1.
The determined color difference can be objectively obtained by a relevant reflection measurement of the color substrates to be compared and can be used for the assessment of the washing machines to be compared, whereby other processes such as cleaning or drying processes can be assessed in a simple and reliable manner.
